Results: I went to the Europa website in order to obtain general information about the CAP and recent reforms. My search for "CAP" directed me to the website of the European Commission on Agriculture and Rural Development. This site provides basic information on how the program is structured, how payments are distributed, reforms, and trade. In looking through this website it appears very similar in nature to the USDA in the topics that are discussed. I believe this information will be useful in helping to provide a background and context for my topic. I then searched this site for "organic farming" which directed me to the organic farming website. This site provides more direct information regarding organic farming in the EU including the certification and labeling process. Since Europa is the official website of the EU, I believe this information to be accurate and up-to-date. In searching this site I also found a link to Organic-Europe which has statistics on organic farming by country.
