employment and immigration in the European Union

Date of Search: October 2009
Search Topic: employment and immigration in the European Union
Where I Searched: Google Scholar, Illinois Library Search database
Search Terms: employment and immigration in the European Union

Description: The borderless European Union brings the question of employment and immigration. I am interested in learning about this unique process. The “Polish plumber” has emerged into something like an effect. I used official EU papers regarding the EU migration. There is also an NYTimes article regarding the Labor Report of the EU and then the very hot topic including the Turkish immigration into Germany.
I am interested in exploring more on this topic; ideally I will narrow down the rather wide scope of this topic.
I searched both Google Scholar and Illinois Library Database to look for resources. The materials I found quite a bit of sources. It is hard at the moment to distinguish which one I will use, as they all focus on different aspects of the topic. For now I have selected the following 3 to share, and I am open for suggestions.
