Subject: Possible Harmonization of Labor Laws

Search 1 Date: Oct. 26, 2009

Where: Law Library Stacks

Search Terms: I basically looked at every book in the European Employment/ Labor law section that was in English.

Result: Unfortunately the few books on the subject in English were helplessly out of date and referred mostly to the European Community

Citation: I did not find anything relevant

Search 2 Date: November 1, 2009

Where: Google Scholar

Search Terms: European union labor law employment [since 2008]

Results: Found a few articles that justify a closer read for possible inclusion in the paper. I love how google scholar tells you how often a paper has been cited. It gives me a greater sense of the credibility of sources I am unfamiliar with. I wanted fairly recent papers because labor law is an area that has only recently been addressed by the EU. I found relevant articles and then looked at "Related articles" which gave me more results.
