My Research Paper's Question is Why Does France not want Turkey in the EU?
Three Resources I am going to use include:
1. Article in the Financial Times entitled Europe's Line Must Take in Turkish Sand. This article is a great resource because it has statements made by the French president speaking strongly against allowing Turkey into the EU. I did not have to search directly in the Financial Times for the article and instead found it on the Compass list of resources under the Turkey heading. Date of research was 11/30/2009.

2. 2. Date of Search 12/7/2009
3. Topic of Search is France not wanting Turkey in the EU
4. Searched on Westlaw in all journals
5. Search terms were France /s Turkey /s EU
6. The result of my search was very helpful. I found 27 articles that included all three search terms in the same sentence. Many of the articles covered policy reasons why France did not want Turkey to be an EU member, which is extremely helpful for my paper.

3. 2. Date of search 12/7/2009
3. Topic of search was France not wanting Turkey EU membership candidacy
4. Searched on Westlaw in all news sources
5. Search terms were France /s policy /s Turkey /s EU
6. I found many articles in my search, it would help to narrow the terms of my search to decrease the amount of material I need to sift through. The search is useful because the search engine searches through many credible newspapers around the world that I would not know the name of or how to search for them.
